Welcome to Newport Beach

Classy and casual living

Located right on the coast with its own harbor, Newport Beach has modern luxury homes perfect for those who enjoy a yachting lifestyle. It has the relaxing ambience of a suburban neighborhood with the rustic and stylish vibe of an urban community. Waterfront living is available for residents who own boats or enjoy the calm simplicity of being by the ocean. In other words, if you love the oceanic outdoors and enjoy staying indoors with cinematic sunsets, this is the place for you.

What to Love

  • Balboa Pier
  • Marina Community Center
  • Fashion Island/Newport Center
  • Lido Marina Village

All Good Vibes by the Bay

This community is perfectly suited for those who want their seaside home to feel both inviting and luxurious. It’s comfortable and chic! Modernized waterfront beach houses with harbors for your boat are common--it’s like a weekend getaway in the front yard of your own home.

Whether you’re looking for a calming suburban vibe or bustling urban life, this community has a mix of everything. Newport Beach residents include everyone from high-end bachelor businessmen to families who enjoy a little more spunk in their everyday lifestyle. Hoag Hospital, an acute care nonprofit hospital, offers exceptional healthcare provided by the best physicians in the area.

High-End Entertainment and Shopping

The chic lifestyle doesn’t just stay in the comfort of your own home. Start the car, roll your windows down to welcome in the fresh ocean breeze, and take a visit to Fashion Island at the Newport Center. Filled with high-fashion stores and a delicious food court, this is the place to go when looking for your next formal or casual outfit. Some stores include: Sperry Top-Sider, Nordstrom, Lululemon, and Brandy Melville. Need to go shopping for some quality organic groceries? There’s a Whole Foods Market located in the Newport Center as well.

You also can’t miss Lido Marina Village--one of the prime spots for Newport Beach locals. Every Wednesday from 12pm-5pm, you can join the community for a weekly farmers market on Via Lido. Spend the day tasting fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, and cheeses, and take home a few of your favorite items. Even if you have to drive out to browse this fun little market, they offer one hour of complimentary parking (two hours if you decide to shop and/or dine within the area!). Throughout the week, you can visit the various fashion and home decor shops as well as the variety of beauty and fitness places. Curl Fitness has weekly classes that you can take to keep in shape, and AESOP specializes in Australian skin and hair routines.

Balboa Peninsula is a favorite local hangout, complete with a three-mile beach and activities for all ages. The local coastal amusement park The Fun Zone is the perfect spot at which to take the kids out or have a fun first date. The Wedge is great for those on the more adventurous side, especially if you’re into surfing. Located on the far east side of the Peninsula, you can catch some killer wedge-shaped waves. Rent a bike, a boat, or just walk and enjoy the seaside sunsets. The Balboa Peninsula really is the place to be!

Food by the Coast

Being by the ocean, there are some great seafood options from which to choose. Nobu is perfect for a classy night out with the spouse or trying to impress your in-laws when they come visit. Their menu consists of Asian classics along with a wide selection of different seafood to sample. If you’re craving some good sushi in the area, check out Sushi Roku--great for a date night or just sampling the catch of the day.

If you’re feeling a bit peckish after walking around Fashion Island, come to Great Maple, where the chefs transform American classics into high-class food at affordable prices. It’s also an excellent breakfast or brunch spot to go to before hitting up the shops.

R+D Kitchen is known for their great cocktails and classic American food. Enjoy the ocean breeze with outdoor seating, but make sure you’re dressed for the part. Dress code is important here, so it’s a wonderful choice for a fancy date or simply a nice spot to take a client out for brunch.

Looking for some delicious, affordable, healthy options? Try out True Food Kitchen. Their menus rotate regularly, but there’s still a wide array of salads, bowls, and pizzas to choose from. Not only is it kid-friendly during the day, but you can come here for a nice glass of wine or beer during the evening.
